Early literacy is one key to a successful life. We decided to design a special series using Barclay (a book and active-play loving dog) that would provide literacy and active-play ideas for young kids.

We put the Activity Book into “Barclay’s Book Bag” along with an active-play item, and an Early Reader book that encourages active play, and hand them out at local food banks and Head Start Programs.

As you can imagine, they’re a hit!

We believe building a library is key to building literacy. So does Barclay!

Our new partner, Norway Savings Bank, is helping us build libraries in local Head Start classrooms. You can too!
