Iceland's Northern Lights Trek

In March of 2022 we set out for Iceland’s southeast coast to explore the natural beauty and hopefully see the Aurora Borealis.
We had a quick tour of Reykjavik, including a visit to a natural thermal spa, and then headed out towards Vik. We saw Skogar, Vik, the Glacier Lagoon (Jokulsarlon), and Egilsstadir. Along the way we saw waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black sand beaches, basalt formations, and reindeer! We flew back to Reykjavik from Egilsstadir and enjoyed one more day before heading home.
Trekking with us supports Team Long Run financially and gives us a chance to get to know each other. A modest portion of the trip cost (any net profits) goes directly to fund TLR kids’ programs throughout the year.
