Southwest Ireland’s Legendary Golf Courses

In July of 2025 we set up camp at a fantastic boutique hotel in Killarney and played five of Southwest Ireland’s most legendary golf courses.
We played, in order, Tralee, Ballybunion, Killarney Golf and Fishing, Old Head, and Waterville links. Challenging, but breathtaking… we were in a true golfer’s paradise. The weather held for us, with only a few Gore-Tex days, but it wouldn’t be Irish links golf without a little wind and rain! Killarney was the perfect base, just big enough to keep us entertained and well fed.
Trekking with us supports Team Long Run financially and gives us a chance to get to know each other. A modest portion of the trip cost (any net profits) goes directly to fund TLR kids’ programs throughout the year.
